Hellertown Area Library Board of Directors Position Opening 

The Hellertown Area Library announces a vacancy on the library’s Board of Directors.  This position is a 2-year term, completing a term due to a resignation, with the possibility of being elected for another 3-year term.  

The successful candidate must reside within the municipalities that are included in Saucon Valley School District, Northampton County.  Any candidate for an appointment to fill a vacancy on the Board shall meet with the Board prior to the appointment. 

Directors attend monthly board meetings, which are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month, and serve on at least one board committee.  Directors govern library procedures and policies as well as promoting community interest in the library.

Effective September 3, 2025:

1. ACCESS PA Sticker is now available for Lower Saucon Residents!
   1. Patrons must present an active library card in order to receive the ACCESS PA Sticker.
   2. Have an expired card or want to apply for a new library card? Please bring confirmation of address such as a driver's license, tax statement, lease agreement, etc. and we can update and/or issue a new card.
2. Lower Saucon Residents have access to CloudLibrary. To log in, use "H" and your 4-digit library card number (i.e. H1234).
3. Inter-Library-Loan services are now available for Lower Saucon Cardholders.
